Yuri van den Berg says that although the back cover is different, the front cover is identical to the original version, the manual is the standard 6 language edition and there are the same three language choices in-game.  This may be the same edition that is sometimes seen with a yellow oval "Komplett in Deutsch" sticker on the front.  A German back cover variation of Battlecorps is also known.
 
A demo CD was given away with an issue of Mega Power, followed by a 2-in-1 demo disc which also contained the first level of Battlecorps (free with Mega Power issue 14).  The demo was then re-released with issue 49 of Sega Pro CD as the SoulStar Paragon Publishing demo.
